Privacy policy

This policy explains how Eastern Movers & Packers (“we”) handles personal data when you use this website or ask us for a quotation. We follow Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

What this website collects

This website does not store the details you type into the quote form. When you press “Send on WhatsApp”, your details are placed into a WhatsApp message on your own device, and nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp.

If analytics is switched on, we use Google Analytics to count visits and clicks on our WhatsApp and phone buttons. It uses cookies and records anonymised usage data, such as pages viewed and the type of device.

Some pages show our location on an embedded Google Map. The map loads from Google only when it scrolls into view, and Google may then set its own cookies and receive your IP address under the Google privacy policy. Links to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat and Telegram open those services, which have their own privacy policies.

What we receive when you contact us

• Your name, phone number and the details of your move that you send on WhatsApp or by phone.
• Photos or videos you choose to share so we can price the job.
• Addresses and dates needed to plan and carry out the move.

Why we use it, and the legal basis

We use these details only to prepare your quotation, plan and carry out your move, and contact you about it. The legal basis is your request for a quotation and, once you book, the performance of our agreement with you.

Quotations

Quotations we prepare are stored in a private, access-controlled system so we can find, update or resend them. We keep customer details on quotations to a minimum. This storage is provided by an overseas service, so your data may be processed outside the Kingdom with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep quotation records for up to 24 months, then delete them unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (such as messaging and hosting), or when the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent where we rely on it. Contact us on WhatsApp or by phone on +966 56 063 5134.
